LAUREN WESTRA
Lauren has lived in West Michigan since she was 4. Attending Caledonia Schools for grade school and then going on to Hope College for Undergrad where she graduated with a double major in Communication and Biblical Studies with a Youth Ministry minor.
Lauren began at Woodhaven in 2021 as the Youth Ministry Director and has just recently transitioned in the Family Ministry Director while still over seeing the youth. Lauren has been in family and youth ministry for 8 years now going from a Volunteer, to an Intern, to a Youth Assistant, to Youth Director, and now Director of Family Ministries.
Lauren got married in the Spring of 2021 and welcomed her first child in October of 2022. Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends just hanging out, playing games, or seeing a good movie. She is also always on the hunt for the best food or snacks, so send your suggestions her way.
