FAQs

Check-in Procedure

When you arrive at Woodhaven head over to the Woodhaven Kids Check-in Desk located near the southeast entrance. There you’ll use a touch screen monitor to check-in. The check-in system will produce a name badge for your child, and a security ticket with a unique code that matches the child’s name tag.

Checking in is as simple as entering the last four digits of your phone number. This action will bring up your family. Next, click on the name(s) of your child(ren). If you need assistance, someone will be available to help you. Once you’re entered into the system, we can send you a text message if you’re needed during the service.

Check-out Procedure

You must present your claim ticket to pick up your child. This is vital to the safety of the kids. Children will only be dismissed to their parent/guardian who shows the claim ticket that was issued to them at check- in.

If you are needed during the service, we will text you, or your child’s security number will be placed on the main screen in the service. When you receive a text or see a notification on the screen, please go to the Woodhaven Kids Check-In desk where a volunteer will meet you.

Wooodhaven Kids is offered every Sunday morning at 10:00 am during our worship service. Our Check in and Registration center will open 15 minutes before the service.

At Woodhaven kids we are excited to offer a specialized space for both nursery and pre-school age groups, welcoming children from birth to 5 years old. In these spaces, your children will experience a nurturing environment filled with love and care. Our aim is to introduce them to the love of Jesus and inspire them to share that love with their friends.

September-May

During the school year Woodhaven Kids provides engaging classes for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. In these classes, students will participate in worship, listen to stories about God, and explore these narratives in greater depth. They’ll have the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with God while guided by dedicated and trained volunteers.

Pre-Check-in:

To make the check-in process smoother for you on a Sunday, we recommend pre-registering your family using the form provided HERE. Registration forms will also be available in person.

Sunday Mornings:

To insure you have time to meet our staff and get your child situated, we suggest arriving 15-20 minutes early, this will give yourself time to get you child checked in and also leave you enough time to grab that important cup of coffee before the service starts. When you arrive, head to the Woodhaven Kids Welcome Desk, where a staff member or volunteer will greet you and assist with the check-in process. They will then show you to your child’s classroom and answer any questions you may have.

At Woodhaven Church, we’re on a mission to transform our communities with the hope and love of Jesus Christ. We believe that one of the profound ways the Holy Spirit empowers us is by employing our unique gifts in service.

Service is the heartbeat of our church—it’s how we embody the actions of Jesus, align our lives with His, and carry out His work as we do as he did. Through service, we not only witness transformation within ourselves but also actively contribute to the transformation of our communities.

Every one of us has a divine calling and a gift waiting to be uncovered and developed, regardless of our past experiences. We’re eager to assist you in discovering your gifts, so you can join us in serving the church and making a lasting impact on the communities we love.
